The iPhone 17 series is likely to debut in 2025. And although Apple has yet to confirm any details, leaks and rumors do have a number of relatively upgrades up the iPhone 17 Pro’s sleeve.
One of the more controversial changes is the larger rectangular camera bump. The precise layout of the camera on the back, however, remains unclear. A rumor also suggests that Apple will no longer use the titanium frame, choosing an aluminum build instead. Further the leaked renders reveal a new dual-tone rear panel that also appears to be a design element carried over to the iPhone 17 Pro and iPhone 17 Pro Max too.
The other big change will be to adopt the metalens camera technology; are you use of the face ID module. This could help Apple shrink the size of its Dynamic Island cutout and improve the experience at the same time.
Additionally, the iPhone 17 Pro will supposedly feature much thinner bezels than on the iPhone 16 Pro series, further improving the overall design of the display. Also, Pro models will keep the 5x Telephoto optical zoom lens, which is limited to Apple’s upper-tier lineup. And then, there are all new 24-megapixel front camera for better selfies and video calling.
Internally, Apple is expected to power the iPhone 17 Pro with an A19 Pro chip that will be reserved for the Pro versions. A recent leak revealed airs that Apple could equip the new series with a vapor cooling chamber that would replace regular heat sinks and provide better thermal management. Additionally, while the Pro models are likely to get 12GB of RAM,I don’t need that kind of performance, only just a good enough for handling multitasking.
Should these upgrades be confirmed, the iPhone 17 Pro is set to be a true game changer for Apple. But these cool features will still have to wait for official announcements to be confirmed.
